Chinese language and culture?
Answer :
I think studying and learning about the Chinese culture would do nothing but benefit a
company if working tightly with Chinese business. Though tedious and very difficult,
learning Mandrin could help you as a manager build relationships with international
businessmen and women. It is the most popular language on earth, and learning it could
guide you in a really beneficial opportunity. Learning this language would give such a huge
advantage with Chinese business people at the negotiation table. It creates a sense of respect
and you could avoid miscommunication. If learning Mandrin is too tedious and difficult, I
think at the least we should learn the Chinese culture in order to avoid offense in daily
communication and meetings. Some things in the Chinese culture are not acceptable in the
American culture, and likewise. Learning about the culture will avoid uncomfortable
situations for both parties.
