In this module, you learned about an organizations mission, vision, and values. For this assignment, research a HCO mission, vision, and values. Try to choose an organization that you are familiar with because you are going to be taking their statements, and creating supportive statements for different stakeholders, and evaluating those statements. For this assignment, download the Mission, Vision, and Values worksheet, and complete it for the HCO that you chose.

There is often confusion as to what information is provided in an organization’s vision, mission, and values statements. You may or may not be aware, but the airline industry is often compared to health care. The reason is that they demand such high quality to ensure the safe flight of their passengers, similar to the standards needed to provide high quality health care.

For this discussion forum, research Southwest Airlines mission, vision, and values. In your post, describe why you think it is well written and supports the organization.

Then, change either the mission, vision, or values statement in a way that you would not consider it to not be well written. Put your new statement in the post, and then explain why that would not be supportive of the organization.
