Wolfe (2010) states “as we look at the developing brain, one of the most important concepts to understand is that of neuroplasticity. Simply stated, neuroplasticity means that the brain is shaped not only by its inherited genetic code but also by the environment” (p. 72). For this assignment, you will focus specifically on how environmental and neurochemical factors impact behavior. It has to be a Powerpoint presentation

1. Prepare a presentation for the parents of the students in your classroom or another professional setting (Social worker, child advocate, after-school program coordinator).
2. Discuss the relationship between the various neurotransmitters (dopamine, serotonin, and acetylcholine) and learning and memory. Use examples from theory and research to support your response.
3. Examine each factor: movement, sleep, nutrition, and technology on learning and neuroplasticity. Analyze the relationship between these neurochemical and environmental factors and discuss how these environmental and neurochemical factors can be supported in and out of the classroom. Use examples from theory and research to support your response.

Your presentation should be between eight-ten slides (not including title and reference page) and formatted according to APA requirements outlined in the Ashford writing center. You must use the assigned reading and at least two other full-text scholarly resources from the Ashford University Library.
