Prevention and intervention programs are programs designed to help with issues that have a negative impact on society. In the context of bullying at least in part the implementation would be through the school as most often when bullying occurs it takes place at school, the other means of bullying is cyberbullying and to address it would be to address the social media site creators and have some type of alert systems put in place. Bullying and cyberbullying are both unwanted aggressive behaviors that occur repeatedly towards an individual where there is a perceived imbalance of power (Waasdorp & Bradshaw, 2014).
