Need help with my Social Science question – I’m studying for my class.

1. What is the absolute best thing you could do for the environment? I think a strong argument could be made that the most impactful thing you could to help the environment would be to not have any children. We’re the greatest stress on the environment, therefore, not having children would have the most significant impact. What are your thoughts on this argument?

2.The current world population of 7.6 billion is expected to reach 8.6 billion in 2030, 9.8 billion in 2050 and 11.2 billion in 2100. With the population growing so rapidly is requiring more resources. In order to gain the needed resources unforteanately we are destroying the planet in order to meet the needs of the population. The talk and option of controlling the population is odd to me as that is what we were put on this earth to is reproduce.

I did not do as good as i would have liked to, however, it is ok that is the neat thing about taking the proficiency diagnostic test at the beginning of the course because it shows you where your lacking and what areas you need to focus on. You may think that you are very strong and familiar with a certain subject and then become aware that you are not as familiar or knowledgable as you thought you were. I will be studying all chapters based on my diagnostics results however I will spend extra time learning the content of chapter six as that is the chapter I scored the lowest on.
